The soya isoflavone is standardized to provide 40% genistein. Can you explain what this means?

Within soya isoflavones, there are specific compounds - one of the most important being genistein. Genistein is a type of isoflavone with powerful oestrogen-like properties. When you see “soya bean extract” or “soya isoflavones” on a product label, it often contains a combination of different isoflavones, including genistein. Our product contains 135mg of soya isoflavones, with 40% of it being genistein - which means you're getting at least 54mg of genistein in every dose. This standardisation ensures that the extract delivers consistent and effective support.

How long should someone take Meno Active for?

We recommend taking Meno Active for 3 months to really feel the benefits. As an everyday support it can be taken for medium to long-term. A break from any supplement is always advised from time to time.

Meno Botanicals is suitable for use at any stage of menopause particularly at the beginning and as extra support during the transitional phase. Meno Botanicals contains 3 botanicals and 2 vitamins in a daily serving.

When does menopause start?

Officially a woman isn’t in menopause until she hasn’t had a period for one year. Women experience the menopause between the ages of 45 and 55, with the average age being 51. However, every woman is different and for some it can occur before the age of 40, this is called primary ovarian insufficiency. Other women may experience early on-set due to surgery such as a hysterectomy, while other women may continue to have menstrual cycles well into their late fifties.

How long does menopause last?
