Shane Finn is an ultra-endurance athlete & business owner from Dingle in County Kerry. Since running his first marathon at the age of 18 in aid of Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Ireland, he has since completed over 100 marathons, ultra-marathons; Ironman triathlons all over the world. Shane's cousin Mary was the real catalyst in Shane's transition into a life of endurance sports! Since that first marathon in 2010, Shane his team have raised over €300,000 for charity. Some of these multi-day events have included 12 Marathons in 12 Days in 2014, 24 Marathons in 24 Days in 2017; Crossing the USA over 36 days in 2019.
Shane spends his time running, cycling and training in the hills of West Kerry. He is the owner of Shane Finn Training, a fitness & endurance business with members from all over the world! Shane encourages his members & team to push their own limits, whether that's a first 5km or a first ultra-marathon!
Along with fitness coaching & consulting Shane has spoken to many different audiences and companies in the areas of endurance, performance, goal setting & mindset. These include the Irish Consulate in New York, Boston Scientific, Accenture, IBM, ESB International & many more. Shane is also the host of the Pushing Limits Podcast where he interviews & speaks to individuals from all corners of the world around the areas of endurance, fitness & resilience.
